I worked with Miranda in August of 2015 when I was working as a Home Health Aide. Working 40 to 50 hours a week doing things like lifting immobile patients in and out of their bathtubs took a huge toll on my body. My joints and back were really starting to hurt and to make things worse, my Lyme Disease was flaring up, causing a general ache throughout my body.
Miranda helped me look at the kinds of foods I was eating throughout the week to see where I could make small changes. Her best recommendation was adding chia seeds to the trail mix or yogurt I would pack in my lunch each day. Over the course of about two weeks, I started to feel a difference in my body. She also encouraged me to take note of what was going on in my life. Without her help, I would have never made the connection that my job was making my ailments worse. Eventually, I had the courage to look for a more fulfilling and less strenuous job.
Fast forward to now and I am a very different person! Through Miranda’s help, I’ve been able to get my Lyme Disease back under control and I am back to my old workout routine of walking in the park every day. An even better bonus is that I no longer struggle with losing those stubborn extra pounds that I have crept up on me as I got older. So far I am down 15 pounds, I am confident I’ll reach my goal weight and I couldn’t be happier!!
Miranda is an AMAZING coach who is there for me any time I need someone to talk to and I am so blessed to have her in my life!
